New Releases for the week of January 1st 2016

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year.  Unfortunately, I didn't release a list of everything that was being released on Christmas Day, but I'm sure you all understand that it was a busy time with the three kids and all.  We ended up traveling to New Jersey to visit my side of the family; parents, sister, and my brother and sister-in-law that came all the way from Chicago.  My younger sister treated everyone with a wonderful homemade dinner of garlic bread, salad, and manicotti and we finished the night with cookies and homemade brownie cheesecake.  Unfortunately, we were only able to stay until my allergies kicked in to the cat dander that my parent's cat has, so once I started to congest we left.

Christmas followed the next day for my children in which we tried a new thing this year only giving the kids a limited amount of gifts.  My wife had noticed this on Pinterest about giving only three presents; one they wanted, one they needed, and one surprise gift from "Santa".

On Saturday, we actually threw our first Annual Christmas Party.  We invited people from the hospital where I work, some of my wife's college friends and even the parents of the girls in my daughter's cheerleading squad.  In the end we had a total of 8 people and three of their kids over for snacks, drinks, and a good time.  We initially started with a Christmas party, but at the end of the event we watched Star Wars: A New Hope, because we learned that everybody there had a liking of Star Wars and had recently watched the new episode in theaters.
