Christmas followed the next day for my children in which we tried a new thing this year only giving the kids a limited amount of gifts. My wife had noticed this on Pinterest about giving only three presents; one they wanted, one they needed, and one surprise gift from "Santa".
On Saturday, we actually threw our first Annual Christmas Party. We invited people from the hospital where I work, some of my wife's college friends and even the parents of the girls in my daughter's cheerleading squad. In the end we had a total of 8 people and three of their kids over for snacks, drinks, and a good time. We initially started with a Christmas party, but at the end of the event we watched Star Wars: A New Hope, because we learned that everybody there had a liking of Star Wars and had recently watched the new episode in theaters.
